Responsibilities
1.Work in the field of high-power fiber-coupled diode laser devices in Zhangjiang High-Technology Park of Shanghai.
2.Drive continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment. Independently & effectively work with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure high quality and yields on daily production activities.
3.Evaluate, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment and tools.
4.Direct engineering technicians. Lead engineering projects at nLight Shanghai, coordinate corporate projects with US team.

Job Descriptions
1.Drive continuous improvement tasks utilizing wide variety of analytical techniques, such as SPC, Gage R&R, DOE, and six sigma concepts.
2.Closely track production process & yield data, run SPC analysis to ensure high product quality on the production floor.
3.Train, guide and support production operators while performing his/her job functions with minimal supervision and direction.
4.Evaluate, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment and tools.
5.Lead a team to design parts, tools, and fixtures in order to achieve manufacturing goals (throughputs, yields, touch time & line balance, and etc.).
6.Learn and follow the New Product Introduction (NPI) procedure defined by corporate.

Requirements
1.BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optics/Photonics, Material Science, Physics, or related majors.
2.＞=4 years of production experience in laser/optoelectronics/semiconductor industry or related. Familiarity or prior hands-on experience with industrial die bonder and/or wire bonder is a plus.
3.Must have good data analysis & problem solving skills.
4.Possess good knowledge of SPC & Gage R&R.
5.Experience with ramping optoelectronics products/technologies in a high volume production environment is plus.
