Application Engineer-safety &security
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
? Working with commercial team to expand sales in China.
??Providing on-site demonstration and other support for training, installation, method development, trade shows and other marketing events.
? Identifying unmet needs, seeking new markets and applications for Thermo Fisher Field and Security Instrument core technologies, include Raman, FTIR, XRF, radiation etc.
? Working with business development manager to establish strategies and develop applications for new markets
? Mastering product technical knowledge through coordination with HQ, provide application report, application notes, presentation and other technical sales tools.
? Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive offerings.
? Working with Commercial team, HQ and distributors to influence government standards.
?Working with Commercial teams, HQ and Distributors to provide after sales services
? Acting as a technical between customers and Company.
? Getting product approvals from Chinese authorities.
? Fostering a positive image of Thermo Fisher Portable Optical Analysis among customers..
?

Requirements:
?B.S., in Chemistry or discipline related to spectroscopy or quick identification field preferred
? 3 plus years of direct experience in analytical solutions (e.g., Raman, FTIR and NIR, XRF)
? Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both Chinese and English.
? Ability to grasp and explain technical concepts related to the product and its application.
? Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and internet based software
